Hoopie Award Winners 2017: And The Hoopie Goes To…
Welcome to the Hoopie Awards, Hooping.org’s 10th Annual Awards celebration honoring greatness in our hooping community. Last week we took a look at 2016’s Greatest Photo Hits & Honorable Mentions and Greatest Video Hits & Honorable Mentions. Now it’s time to announce all of our 10th Annual Hoopie Award Winners. All of our nominees are winners in our book though, we love them all!
Our call for preliminary submissions went out at the start of the year. Those submissions were then pre-screened, compiled and presented to 50 randomly selected hoopers who made themselves available to serve on our Hoopie Award Finalists Review Panel for 2017. Panelists voted for their top 5 selections in each award category, then these scores were tallied, resulting in our Hoopie Awards 2017 Nominees. Then votes were cast throughout the community and around the globe – and now the time has come to announce our Hoopie Award Winners for 2017.
We’d like to thank everyone who participated in the 2017 Hoopies, giving an extra special thank you to all of our dedicated panelists, Hoopin’ Annie of World Hoop Day for validating our computerized vote counts again this year, and to the thousands who voted in our record breaking awards celebration this year. Thanks everyone for participating and being a part of this community based hooping awards process.
And now, we proudly present the Hoopie Award Winners for 2017. And the hoopie goes to…
